The Necklace Nebula

The recently discovered planetary nebula IPHASXJ194359.5+170901 (rather more charmingly called the Necklace Nebula), featured on APOD for 2010 November 03.

The Necklace lies in Sagitta and was discovered on images taken in 2005 as part of the IPHAS (INT Photometric Hydrogen Alpha Survey of the Northern Galactic Plane) survey.
