(Lick Obs Bulletin, Vol 14, No. 420) gives the diameter as 9' and the class as 2 3 m. He adds that the cluster is pronouncedly unsymmetrical.
(Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a 7.0 mag open cluster.

"1001 Celestial Wonders as observed with home-built instruments"
, author of 1001 Celestial Wonders calls this open cluster "a field shot with diamond dust." It is a bit more than 10' in size and shines with the light of a 7.5 magnitude star.
Lorenzin, in the electronic version of "1000+ The Amateur Astronomers' Field Guide to Deep Sky Observing", notes: "7.6M; 11' diameter; large and rich; 40-plus 10M members."

[2h 33m 36s, 57° 32m 0s] There seems to be a cluster of 12-13mv stars here, but it doesn't match the chart. Not found?
Observing site: Little Tycho Observatory

[2h 33m 36s, 57° 32m 0s] The finder chart does not correspond to the sky. Check with WikiSky. WikiSky: The chart had inadverteltly become inverted, thus the confusion.
