The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a 11.0 mag open cluster.
Lick: rectangle 6' across.
Balazs 1961: can't find rectangle on charts here; skew 4' diamond in middle w/pair on E = h1043: 11.6,12.7; 11".3; pa173.
15cm - mod f cl in rich fld, sl hazy but well res @ 80x. 140x: 25 *s in 4' diam. brtst is m11.5 nr N edge. wk concen. BS, 10Dec1990, Anderson Mesa.
25cm - 8' diam. led by rectangle of m10.5-11 *s. Emost in rectangle is pair. not much concen, 20 *s.
Observing site: Little Tycho Observatory

[0h 39m 36s, 61° 4m 0s] 5 10-11mv stars, with about 10 13-14mv stars clustered around them. Lackluster.
