NGC 6906 is not IC 5006, which see for the details.
The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a 13.5 mag galaxy. Their coded description reads SLEL,BM,*ORSTELNUC RI*FLD.
POSS: m15 * 55" NE of center. implied size too lg; 15cm eyeball estimate
probably better. pa~30.
15cm - pretty f @ 80x in *ry fld. 140x: oval elong ~N-S, 1'.2x0'.6. m15-15.5 *
off NE flank; minor approx equal to sep from center to *. mod broad
concen except for vf *ar nuc. perhaps wkly mottled. BS, 12Oct1990,
