The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that NGC 6108 is a 15.5 mag galaxy. Their coded description reads S,STELNUC,LBM,DIFAMS COM 1'F.
Paul Brown (1992, Webb Society Quarterly Journal, 89, 8-11, 'An Unlisted Galaxy in the NGC 6107 Galaxy Group') observing with a 10-inch f/5.5 and a 16-inch f/4.5 notes observing NGC 6108:"I saw two objects, roughly 1-2 arcmin apart and aligned E-W." The western object is NGC 6108, whilst the following object he notes is "uncatalogued, and therefore truly anonymous" This galaxy is shown on Palomar print 0-1093 and is mentioned in the RNGC description for NGC 6108.
