Non-stellar objects in old star catalogues

Thirty astrometric catalogues, dating from 1752 to 1917, were searched for references to nonstellar objects; 138 were found. Of these, 64 were identified in modern nonstellar databases. A further 62 objects are presented as being candidate open cluster remnants or microclusters.
