12-inch f/10 SCT, 16-inch f/10 SCT (76x, 127x)
Yet another one of my star strings which I would like to share with you reminds me of a radio telescope. The disc of the radio telescope in a semi-circle of stars, that appears to point its ear toward the southwest. I attribute this grouping to a treasured professional radio astronomer and dear friend Prof. Derck Smits who is Associate Professor at the University of South Africa. Comment: Guide search then visually; sketch done. Size estimate: 34.0 arcmin.
