Mag: B=15.52, V=?
The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a 15.5 mag galaxy. Their coded description reads EL,BM.
Steve Coe, using a 13.1" f/5.6, notes: ""NGC 7533 Faint, pretty small, little elongated in PA 90 and considerably brighter in the middle at 100X. NGC 7517 fits in the same 30' field and both are pretty tough to spot from a somewhat light polluted site. I picked them out much easier from a darker location."
