The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a open cluster.
15cm - mod f rel poor cl E of m9.5 *, not well detached from fld. 140x: 5' diam,
25 *s of m11+, little concen. brtr *s on E and W edges of cl are pairs:
Wrn pair: 11.5,11.5; 3"; pa135 and Ern pair: 11.5,12.5; 5"; ?(oops). BS,

1995-06-01: 11x80. Kelsey Farm. 23:00 SAST. According to the map on it swestern edge there is a smlal 9th mag star. In this position I see the little star, accompanied in the proper position by something which is either a hazy cluster or another small star.
