NGC 6141 is a faint galaxy at Bigourdan's measured offset. The NGC position, correctly copied from the Comptes Rendus article, is 3 arcmin to the south. It may result from an inaccurate estimated position for the comparison star.
This might also be IC 4606 (which see), but its position is well off that of the object that Finlay saw.
The RNGC (Sulentic and Tifft 1973) notes that this is a 16.0 mag galaxy. Their coded description reads R,DIF,LBM.
