15cm - mod f puff SW of a triangle of *s. vis w/o filts @ 50x. 80x: m12.0, vstrong [OIII] and strong UHC enhancements. 140x: 35" diam w/well-def edge. uniformly br except * or *ing (m14?) on W edge of disk. BS, 27Feb1990, LCO.

This is one of most memorable planetary nebulas I even laid eyes on. Let me explain, a nice round ring which looks like ghostly bubble blowing away in the wind. The dark inner part is clearly seen with high power, but no central star. It is just as I remember it from seeing pictures of this nebula. The northern edge of the planetary could be a tat brighter. A triangle of brighter stars can be seen in the north western star field. The use of the 0111 filter is doing the trick.
